  Items Required for New Student Registration
  • Proof of Residency (lease, deed, utility bill with parent/guardian name)* Affidavit of Residence is required if living with someone else.
  • Completed Registration Packet (Household & Student Packets)
  • Withdrawal form from previous school (if applicable)
  • Parent ID

  Documents can be scanned or photographs of the required documents can be emailed to:
 hesregistrationdocs@dekalbschoolsga.org  

A Confirmation Email will be sent to you upon receipt of the registration information
& Upon completion of registration process. 

  •      Transfer students should not complete a registration application.
  • To determine the correct school, please use our School Locator tool. Withdrawal documentation and proof of residency (current lease/mortgage/utility bill) are required to complete the student transfer process.

All Returning Students:

Proof of Residency will be Accepted Through Parent Portal Only

 A current utility bill (gas/electric/water)
with a June/July/August due date must be provided to

  • Parent/Guardian must have an Infinite Campus Parent Portal account to verify/update their student(s) information.
  • Parents/guardians who do not already have a portal account should visit https://www.dekalbschoolsga.org/infinite-campus/ for instructions.
  • Parents/guardians who have forgotten their portal username and/or password should click on the Forgot username? or Forgot password? link as appropriate on the portal login page (https://campus.dekalb.k12.ga.us/campus/portal/parents/dekalb.jsp).
  •              Returning students should not complete a registration application.


 
***Students Requiring an Affidavit of Residence***
If parent/guardian is living with someone else, then an affidavit must be completed, notarized and submitted with the required documents.
